Day 1: San Cristobal Airport – Hotel Transfer and Visit to Playa Lobería

The National Park Guide will be at the airport to transfer you to your respective hotel. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Later, the guide will take you to Playa Lobería for a walk to observe marine iguanas and a large colony of sea lions. Experience a short snorkel with sea turtles, baby sea lions, and reef sharks.

Day 2: Full Day Snorkel Tour 360

A Galapagos National Park Naturalist Guide will pick you up and head to the tourist pier. Board a yacht and navigate to Kicker Rock, a prime snorkeling and diving site with hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, sea turtles, sea lions, and diverse fish. Continue to Cerro Brujo and Punta Pitt for unique volcanic landscapes and sport fishing. After lunch, visit Bahia Rosa Blanca for beach exploration and snorkeling.

Day 3: Visit Playa Punta Carola – Interpretation Center and Cerro Tijeretas

08:30 Your Naturalist Guide will take you to swim with sea lions and turtles at Playa Punta Carola. Visit the Interpretation Center to learn about the islands’ evolution. After lunch, explore Cerro Tijeretas with snorkeling activities to encounter sea lions and turtles.

Day 4: Navigation to Santa Cruz – Visit Charles Darwin Station and Lava Cracks
06:20: Check-in at the Passenger Dock.
07:00: Departure for a two-hour navigation to Santa Cruz Island.
09:30: Check-in at your hotel on Santa Cruz Island.
In the morning, your Naturalist Guide will pick you up from the hotel for a visit to the Charles Darwin Station. Embark on a 45-minute walk to observe giant tortoises in captivity and learn about conservation efforts. Explore the area, including the unique Lonesome George exhibit.
Lunch at the Restaurant.
In the afternoon, venture to the Lava Cracks, large volcanic channels formed millions of years ago. Immerse yourself in crystalline waters, swim with colorful fish, and deepen your understanding of the site’s natural history. Return to your hotel.

Day 5: Daily Tour to Bartolomé or North Seymour Island

A Naturalist Guide will take you to the Itabaca Canal for a yacht journey to Bartolome Island. Hike to witness volcanic landscapes, marine iguanas, and Galapagos penguins. Lunch on the yacht, followed by a visit to Sullivan Bay on Santiago Island. Return to Puerto Ayora.

Day 6: Snorkel Tour to Pinzón and La Fe

Depart for the Municipal Pier for a yacht trip to Pinzón Island. Enjoy snorkeling with sharks, sea turtles, and multicolored fish. Lunch on board and navigation to La Fe or Las Palmitas for another snorkeling session and relaxation on the beach. Return to Puerto Ayora.

Day 7: Navigation to Isabela, Visit Tintoreras, Breeding Center, and Wetlands

06:30 Your Naturalist Guide will meet you at your hotel in Puerto Ayora and take you to the boat that will be waiting for you. After navigating for two hours, we will arrive at Isabela Island and disembark.

Your Naturalist Guide will take you to visit the giant tortoise breeding center where you will learn more about the life cycle of these amazing creatures. Then you will enjoy a walk through the wetlands where you can see flamingos, ducks, and marine iguanas.

Lunch in a local restaurant

In the afternoon we will go to the dock and do a short navigation to observe birds and Galapagos penguins. We will disembark on Tintoreras Island which is located in front of the Puerto Villamil bay and walk for about 40 minutes to observe nesting marine iguanas, the shark channel, sea lions and blue-footed boobies. After reboarding the boat we’ll snorkel with sea turtles, sea lions, Galapagos penguins and many colorful fish.

Day 8: Tour to Cabo Rosa Tunnels and Navigation to Santa Cruz

07:30 Your Naturalist Guide will meet you at your hotel in Puerto Villamil and take you to the yacht that will be waiting for you. After sailing for 1.5 hours we’ll arrive at El Finado. Here we will snorkel through small volcanic tubes that were formed thousands of years ago. The water is crystal clear and not very deep. We may see white fin sharks, Galapagos sharks, sea lions and seahorses.

12:00 Lunch aboard the yacht

In the afternoon we will snorkel at Los Túneles. Here we can swim around small islets that are nesting sites for sharks and sea turtles. We may be accompanied by Galapagos penguins and sea lions. This site is ideal for swimming with children since the waters are very calm.

After snorkeling, we will walk for about 20 minutes to observe blue-footed boobies nesting and see the tube-shaped formations that make this place unique.

During our 50 minute return navigation to Puerto Villamil, we may see whales and dolphins that come to the Bolivar Channel to feed. (in the cold water season – June, July, August)

14:00 Return to your Puerto Villamil hotel

15:00 Departure by speedboat to Santa Cruz Island

17:00 Arrive at Puerto Ayora and transfer to your hotel

Briefing for next day’s activities

Day 9: Visit Los Gemelos and Transfer to Baltra Airport

08:30 Depart from your hotel and, on your way to the Itabaca Canal, you’ll stop at Los Gemelos, two collapsed volcanic craters. You will have the opportunity to see some endemic vegetation of the island, Galapagos finches feeding, and beautiful scenery.

09:30 Travel the remaining distance to the canal and continue onward to Baltra

10:30 Check in for your flight at Baltra Airport

50% due two weeks before the date of your tour

CANCELLATIONS

Any last minute cancellations or changes by the customer may incur a fee to be imposed by Galapagos Best Option SA.

If for any reason a passenger is not present at the time of their flight they will be considered a no show and will not be subject to any refund by the agency.
