DEPARTURE TIME: 8:00 A.M.
RETURN TO HOTEL: 5:00 P.M.

Departure from Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island. The National Park Naturalist Guide will pick you up from your hotel, and we’ll head to the Municipal Passenger Dock. There, we’ll board the awaiting yacht and sail towards Pinzón Island, a 50 to 80-minute journey depending on sea conditions.

Arriving at one of the best snorkeling spots from Santa Cruz, Pinzón Island boasts a beautiful bay with crystal-clear waters, ranging from 3 to 4 meters deep. You’ll have the opportunity to swim with sea turtles, sea lions, mantas, and observe reef and Galápagos sharks. It’s ideal for underwater photography, so bringing a Gopro is recommended.

We’ll enjoy approximately an hour of snorkeling before returning to the yacht, where lunch will be served. Lunch options include fish, chicken, meat, or vegetarian dishes.

Next, we’ll sail towards Daphne Island, approximately one hour from Pinzón. The yacht will navigate around the island to observe blue-footed boobies and masked boobies. We’ll then engage in our second snorkeling session, and this island also offers the option for tank diving, known as one of the best places for underwater exploration. You can swim with whitetip sharks, Galápagos sharks, large rays, colorful fish, and sea turtles.

After snorkeling, lasting approximately an hour, we’ll sail towards the Itabaca Channel. Our transportation will be waiting to take us back to our respective hotels.

What to bring:
Comfortable clothing: Shorts, T-shirts, sandals
Swimsuit (it’s advisable to wear it beforehand)
Sweater or windbreaker
Sunscreen (we recommend bringing it from your country, as it’s costly in Galápagos)
Sunglasses, hat
GoPro camera
